PROFESSIONAL SHOP STAFF 

Professional – Jason J Boyd 

Jason has been a professional since 1990. 

During this time he has held positions at: 

Callander Golf Club, Lenzie Golf Club and as Head Professional at Cochrane Castle Golf Club. 

In 1995 he fully qualified as a class 'A' professional at the PGA training school. 

He has been Professional at Montrose Links since March 2001.

Jason serves the membership of the two courses as well as the three constituent clubs by: 

• Providing a fully stocked shop including an efficient repairs service.  
• Teaching on a one-to-one basis or groups, including golf etiquette.  
• Collection and recording of green fees, monitoring starting times and assisting in the day to day running of the golf operation.  
• Acting as advisor for the Green and Tournament Committees, attending monthly Board meetings.  
• Organising, in conjunction with the Scottish PGA, our annual Pro-am Tournament. 

Assistant Professional - Stuart McEwing 

Stuart works in conjunction with Jason on all matters relating to the shop, repairs and golf tuition. He is a fully qualified PGA Assistant Professional, having completed his training in 2009. 

Assistant Professional - Graeme Brown 

Graeme, who is in his first year as an assistant professional, is the third member of our PGA team, providing further support to Jason in the Pro shop, and in connection with equipment repairs and golf tuition.
